New Schedule

Since this week is about completion of assessments, and since we have 6 students now, I felt it was a great time to alter my daily schedule to better accommodate the needs of our class. I do spend one on one time with the students, but would like to spend more time with them independently and in smaller groups according to the skill that is being taught. The new schedule will come in to effect on January 12th. This is how we will work:

9:15-9:30 Individual assessment
9:30-9:45 Welcome, Calendar, Sharing Time
9:45-10:00 Shared Reading (whole group)
10:00-10:30 Group A meets with me while
Group B has center time
10:30-10:45 Snack & Outside (weather permitting) or activity
10:45-11:15 Group B meets with me while
Group A has center time
11:15-11:30 Craft/Thematic Activity
11:30-11:45 Music and movement

Please be on time at drop off as to allow enough time for all of the activities planned for the day.
